It is time to update the long-distance rail diagram of Switzerland 2025. It only got a few changes. The long-distance train system in north-western Switzerland got reorganised: The IC 5 only runs hourly west of Zurich. Instead, the IC 51 line is extended from Biel/Bienne to Lausanne. In addition, IC 55 and IC 56 complent the IC 5 and IC 51 between Biel/Bienne and Zurich or Basel to an hourly service.
