December 2024 is the last time the Austrian timetable changes slightly before a major reorganisation a year later. The opening of the Koralm Railway in December 2025 will affect the long-distance lines in southern Austria. The long-distance rail diagram 2025 only shows smaller changes as compared to the Austria long-distance rail diagram 2024.
The Westbahn extends its services to Germany. Two trains go to Stuttgart instead of ending in Munich. On the Arlberg line, one daily train is extended to Lindau-Insel. A new daily train is introduced to St. Johann im Pongau. By contrast, the number of Westbahn trains between Vienna and Salzburg is slightly reduced.
There are also some changes in ÖBB’s international network: on the Munich-Innsbruck-Verona route, the new second-generation Railjet trains have replaced the classic EuroCity trains. Some direct trains from Germany to Salzburg and Villach-Klagenfurt are operated with German ICE trains instead of Railjets. From Graz to Maribor, the number of D trains increases.
Please make sure to have a look at the 2026 version of this diagram.

The map is great and well done
I have a suggestion for another country: Hungary
