My 2024 Luxembourg diagram has got an update. The timetable has not changed much. The only noticeable change concerns the RB from Luxembourg to Wittlich. It will run on the reopened Trier Westline from March 2025. CFL has changed the colours of the lines. I have also adapted the colours on my map, but slightly adjusted them for a better appearance on the map. The through trains from Troisvierges and Mersch to Pétange and Rodange now have their own colour.

  1. Hello, I think the “stop in certain hours” is only technically correct for the Merkholtz and Paradiso stops. It’s not wrong that the train only stops in certain hours, but the certain hours are not determined by the time table, but by people asking the train to stop. So something like “Request stop”/”Bedarfshaltestelle”/”arrêt à la demande” would be better fitting.

    1. Thanks for your comment. I agree that “stop at certain hours” is not the best description, I should change that. However, the signature is not meant to symbolise “request stops”, but that getting on or off is not possible on every single train. On weekdays, for example, you can only get on or off at Merkholtz or Paradiso once every hour, while the trains from Wiltz to Kautenbach generally run every half hour. This means that it is not possible to board or alight at Merkholtz or Paradiso every other train. At weekends, it is possible to board or leave all trains.
