The timetable change in December 2024 brought few changes for Belgium, which have been taken into account in the update of the Belgium 2024 map:
- Many East-West Intercity lines through Brussels have been rearranged. This concerns lines IC-14, IC-20, IC-23A, IC-29 on the axes to Ghent, Hasselt and Liège.
- There are two trains per hour from Brussels to Rotterdam. The Eurocity trains stop at the same stations as the former Intercity service. The new Eurocity Direct trains stop at Brussels-South, Antwerp-Central, Rotterdam-Central, Schiphol and Amsterdam-Zuid. As a result, the IC-22 service has been suspended.
- The S44 line from Antwerp to Lokeren has been extended to Dendermonde instead of the IC-26 line.
- The S3 line now runs from Brussels to Halle-Geraardsbergen and Denderleeuw during rush hour instead of Anderlicht-Denderleeuw-Zottegem. The S6 line runs between Geraardsbergen, Denderleeuw and Zottegem.
Due to track work, the S5, S7 and S9 lines is being diverted until September 2025.
