The timetable change in December 2023 brought few changes for Belgium. The suburban trains around Liège have been reorganised: The S41 line now forms the Euregioaixpress, as it has been extended to Aachen Hbf instead of the L train from Spa. In addition, the S53 line has been extended from Ghent to Oudenaarde. Another new line was introduced: The IC 24 line connects Charleroi-Central with Ottignies and Leuven.
