Again, I created an updated transport map for the long-distance trains in Germany. The map combines all systematic ICE, IC and EC trains. You can find the older versions from 2019 and 2020 on my blog.

The timetables changed only slightly. In December 2020, additional trains between Hamburg and Berlin (ICE 29) as well as between Cologne and Berlin (ICE 14) were introduced. As the line between Lindau and Geltendorf has been electrified, the trains between Munich and Zurich run faster and more frequent (ECE 88).

In comparison to the 2020 map, I slightly optimised the layout. The trains departing at the same minutes (in different hours) are displayed as one merged line in order to show the dependencies. In addition, I reorganised the network layout around Cologne, Düsseldorf and Dortmund as well as around Munich.

I made an effort on analysing the timetables carefully. However, if you discover any mistake in the maps, please let me know. Just be aware that I had to make numerous simplifications because the long-distance service is at times not very systematic.
