This 2024 map of rail in Denmark includes only a few changes compared to the 2023 version. The number of regional trains between Roskilde and København H has been decreased, while the direct regional trains to Helsingør have been reorganised. In addition, the tangential regional train from Lufthavn Kastrup to Slagelse is extended to Odense as InterCity during peak hours and replaces the ‘PendlerLyn’.

The InterCity trains from Hamburg to København H run every second hour and are from now on categorised as ‘EuroCity’. This is why I had to introduce a new colour in the network map. As a consequence of the increased number of EuroCity trains, there are no more direct trains from Hamburg to Aarhus H. In order to provide good connections between the two cities, the existing InterCity trains from Aarhus H to Fredericia are extended every second hour to Kolding instead.

  1. Epic resource, thank you! We are planning (from Canada!) our train from Kobenhavn to the top of Falster to start our bike loop trip this summer, so this really helps.
